The Potentiality of Design Contents Scenic Elements in Nollywood Movies to Influence Positive Change in Nigeria

Most children (if not all) like watching television and its contents, which come in form of audio-visual designs have a strong influence on children. It contributes to their behavioural patterns as the children also tend to emulate the experience they watch. There is no gainsaying that the world today, going through a state of moral profligacy. Using qualitative research methodology, which includes examining existing literature, this paper investigates how the design elements in Nigerian Home Movies can be used to curb moral profligacy in our society. It situates its argument within the context of E. F. Thorndike's theory of learning.
